Red, White & Yellow.

Cold weather and hot soup fit together like any perfect equation.. two lovers hands intertwined, a flower and it's roots, coffee and cream, you know... it feels good and it feels perfect. One of my favorite soups of all time and quite possibly one of the best things Boy makes in house and in restaurant is French Onion Soup... the perfect blend of velvety beef broth collides with red wine, onions, shallots which is then settled into a bowl and tied together with a beautiful bow of crusty french bread and Jarlsberg cheese is then melted away beneath the broiler as cold hands clench a spoon, ready to devour... ready to indulge.

It may be a romantic spell to a simple soup but it sure is worth every moment it takes to make for each spoonful you get to enjoy.

Thanks to the Arctic wind we have been experiencing in Florida, this soup felt extra special...

Hello! I found this blog in foodista and followed it here. This is a lovely blog and awesome French Onion Soup. Reminds me of mom's recipe and it was superb. By the way you can place more foodista widget in your past and future blogs so that other foodista readers can follow and see your blog too. Just search for a related recipe or food in Foodista and use its widget. I hope to read more from you. Cheers!
