Boursin Burger.

Quite a few years ago, I started working at a bistro - I actually worked for their sister restaurant for a year or so as a bar back/cashier and then went over to the bistro to be a server. I was still pretty young at that point (17-18ish) and still pretty american fed (and minded for that matter..lol) anyhow, they had a boursin burger on the menu and the idea of it kinda of perplexed me as I was used to cheeseburgers, you know with.. cheddar. Anyhow, one day while setting up I decided to give one a test drive and I haven't looked back since. If you like burgers, and you like boursin then you know how good of a combination this is.

We made our own today at home, of course my boursin was pretty simple but hey.. that's how we like it around here.

Today was and still is a beautifully sunny, wonderful day.

fresh basil from the garden.

basil, 1 tsp of olive oil, garlic s&p

give a quick mash.

add cream cheese, I prefer whipped.

stir. incorporate.combine, etc.

quick relish of red onion and cherry tomatoes.

enjoy!

Alright - that's just plain delicious! I've already told Mr. Noodle that he's grilling burgers this week and this is definitely going to be the preparation.

I have been craving a burger this past week, and this sounds like a great prep as well...
